Delete Your SRIYA Account

You can delete your SRIYA account and all of your data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)

Open the SRIYA app and sign in.
Go to Profile & Settings.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Your account and data are deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.

Option 2: Ask us by email

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, send us an email:

Subject: Delete My Account

Include: the email address you use to sign in to SRIYA. Please send the email from that address, so we can confirm it is your account.

We will delete your account within 7 business days and reply to confirm.

Delete some of your data (keep your account)

You do not need to delete your account to remove data. In the SRIYA app you can delete, at any time:

Tracker entries, journal entries, reminders, appointments, medical records and special days: open the entry and tap Delete (bin icon).
Photos: open the entry or your profile and remove or change the photo.
Uploaded music: Background Music → My Playlist → tap the bin next to a song.
Chat messages: long-press a message → Delete for me or Delete for everyone (your own messages).
Chat profile: Chat with Mothers → tap your own card → Leave Chat. This removes your chat nickname.

Data you delete this way is removed straight away. It may remain for a short time in routine backups before it is permanently erased.

You can also email us (see Option 2) and tell us which data you would like deleted.

What is deleted

Your account (email and sign-in)
Your pregnancy profile and all tracker entries (mood, symptoms, blood pressure, blood sugar, sleep, water, weight, kicks, contractions)
Journal entries, medical records, reminders, appointments, meal plans, checklists, baby details and special days
All your photos and uploaded music
Your Chat with Mothers nickname, conversations, messages, and chat photos and files
Your app review and rating
Your emergency contacts and Partner Mode notes

What may be kept

Purchase records: Google Play keeps its own records of purchases under Google's privacy policy. The purchase record SRIYA keeps is unlinked from your deleted account and is only used to stop the same purchase being used twice.
Unlock codes: codes you used stay marked as "used", without your account, so they cannot be used again.
Safety reports: reports you sent about other users or AI answers may be kept to help keep the community safe. They are no longer linked to an account.
Backups: deleted data may remain for a short time in our service providers' routine backups before it is permanently erased.

Subscriptions: deleting your SRIYA account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Please cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
