SRIYA is a pregnancy and motherhood companion app for adults. It includes Chat with Mothers, where users can send messages to each other. We are committed to keeping SRIYA safe and to protecting children.

Our standards

Zero tolerance: SRIYA strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. This includes sharing, requesting, promoting or linking to such content, and any attempt to groom, contact or exploit a child.
Adults only: SRIYA, including Chat with Mothers, is only for people aged 18 or older. Accounts that we find belong to someone under 18 are closed.
Removal and account closure: any content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account responsible is closed.
Reporting to authorities: we report confirmed child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the relevant national and regional authorities, as required by law. In Sri Lanka this includes the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) and the Sri Lanka Police; elsewhere, the appropriate local authorities and organisations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Compliance with law: SRIYA complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations.

How to report a concern in the app

Report a message: in Chat with Mothers, long-press the message and tap Report message.
Report a user: open the chat, tap the ⋮ menu and tap Report. You can also Remove the user, so they can no longer message you.
Report an AI answer: tap Report this answer under the answer.

Every report is reviewed by us. Reports are never shown to the person you reported.

We respond to child safety reports as a priority.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services straight away. In Sri Lanka you can call the National Child Protection Authority helpline 1929 or the police on 119.
